Due to the huge success once again of the Veterans Cup Charity Football Match, we are delighted to announce the place and date of this years match.

This years match will take place at the Arnott Stadium, Durham on Saturday the 6th of June. Doors open at 1500, KO at 1600. Anyone wishing to play should get in touch with me a.s.a.p.

It will once again be a charity event with all funds going this year, to the Help for Heroes Fund. Donation forms are available from me & all donations will be greatly received. We will also hold a raffle on the night so please bring along a prize!

Burgers, chips and hot drinks will be available from the kiosk from 1500. The bar will also be open from this time until late. There will be a disco and buffet. We are hoping to put transport on from Newcastle & Sunderland and will need numbers. The Premier Inn, within staggering distance of the venue, is offering us rooms at £27 per person, per night, based in 2 sharing. This also includes a continental breakfast.

Lets please get together to make this even bigger and better than last year. Bring family and friends along for a fantastic day!

St Georges Day

Once again there are 2 functions taking place to celebrate St Georges Day. Both are on Sat 18th April. The Northumberlands party is at Fed Breweries & the Royal Regiment is at St Georges TA Centre. Tickets available from Capt Jock Stacey at £12 per head. The Branch will put transport on if there is enough interest.

Easter Sunday

The Branch will hold an Easter Sunday party in the Gunners Club from 12 noon. There will be a buffet, easter eggs for the kids, raffle & kareoke. All welcome.

Branch Christmas Party 2008

The Branch Christmas Party will be held on Thursday 4th December at the Gunners Club, Mary St, Sunderland.

We always have a cracking night, the doors open at 7, £2 per head entrance. We have live entertainment, buffet, raffle etc.

So please try and join the party and have a great night. If you work, remember to book Friday off!!!!!!!!
